Which one are you now?

This came in to my mail last week. I trust my male blogging buddies aren't any of these... :) Relationship needs to be nurtured and not taken for granted. We need to spend quality time with our family, otherwise we'll end up like "after 6 years". Yesterday in church, pastor shared that there are 12 magical words that would hold fanilies together. Just would like to share with you before the joke.
1. I AM WRONG - admit if you're wrong, don't just argue because of your ego
2. I AM SORRY - say you're sorry, from the bottom of your heart
3. PLEASE FORGIVE ME - ask for forgiveness, easier said than done but should at least try
4. I LOVE YOU - mean it...women has sixth sense to know if you mean it or not :)
.......and now to the joke

How men change

The Love Word:
After 6 weeks: I looo-ve you, I love you, I love you!
After 6 months: Of course, I love you.
After 6 years: GOD, if I didn ' t love you, then why did I marry you?

Back from Work:
After 6 weeks: Honey, I ' m home!
After 6 months: I ' m BACK!!
After 6 years: Have you cooked yet?

Phone Ringing:
After 6 weeks: Baby, somebody wants you on the phone.
After 6 months: Here, it ' s for you.
After 6 years: ANSWER THE PHONE DAM*T!!

Cooking:
After 6 weeks: I never knew food could taste so good!
After 6 months: What are we having for dinner tonight?
After 6 years: DUMPLING AGAIN??

New Dress:
After 6 weeks: Wow, you look like an angel in that dress.
After 6 months: You bought a new dress again?
After 6 years: How much did THAT cost me?

TV:
After 6 weeks: Baby, what would you like us to watch tonight?
After 6 months: I like this movie.
After 6 years: I ' m going to watch PIRATES play, if you ' re not in the mood, go to bed, I can stay up by myself!

Making Love:
After 6 weeks: Baby, I want you tonight?
After 6 months: Lets make another baby, my mother just called!!!
After 6 years: Please MOVE over to your side, I'm suffocating here!!!!

Caaaallllviinnnn, yuhhoooo! LOL. Now, this is one entry that I could never agree more with it. No kidding. I am in my err... lemme see, this year would be 6 years of relationship and next year would be 7 years of relationship with my husband, and goddamn it, the things that you posted are so right! :P I'm well into my 6 years, flaring and quarrellings every now and then. Oh, the joy of marriage, could not ask for more! *snort*

However, that bloody husband of mine never tells me "I love you'. His best records were only 2 times, goddamnit! And I on the other hand, would never ask. Can't be bothered asking, i also dunno why. If he don't love me, i dunno why else he's still with me. LMAO.
My version:

Cookingk:

After 6 weeks: I've prepared dinner for you
After 6 month: Let's go out and eat
After 6 years: Fuck it la! I dun wanna cook! Dunno how to go out and eat issit!

Making love:
After 6 weeks: Let's do it again
After 6 month: Will you turn off the phone please? It's distracting the mood.
After 6 years: You want another baby? Screw it, you think raising kids these days cheap issit? Use the condom or dun you dare come near me!

And Josephine, trust me, marriage is not at all scary. In laws are scary. And sometimes, you can transform into a scary monster too. Ah, the miracle of marriage.:-P

kikey, no lar. sometimes cant blame the men, women also got responsibility. it takes two hands clap, right?

clef...LMAO. somehow i feel i shouldnt have posted it. hahahaha. i guess, asian men do not express their love verbally like europeans do. take my dad for example. my mum told me that he never uttered "i love you" before. but he shows his love thru caring and speaking gently to my mom. asians are more of action speaks louder than words. but women do need to hear it at times, dont you?

If my boyfriend asks me to marry him now, I think I need to reconsider lor :P

Damn right! If one day my husband comes home telling me that he loves me, give me flowers or remember my birthday and anniversary, I will know that he did some big sin outside... like visited a pros or fooling around behind my back! *humph* Grrrrrr! Typical Asian men. Drives me crazy. I hate it when men forget their wives bday and stuff and yet could remember every single little thing that their guy friend did for them or their guy friend's bday and stuff! Sickening, I tell you! Makes me sick to the stomach! And yes, before you ask, I am speaking from my own experience.

But I have long learn to cope. Let's say if people do not know how to love me or appreciate me, then I will have to love myself a little bit more. If I don't love myself more, then who would? :-(

*grunt* Why the hell did I not marry some romantic Spaniard or something? Damn! my novel characters gets more romance than me!*sigh*

Wow... Calvin.. suddenly you get all the girls responding... LOL...

Women are very funny creatures... I mean look at Cleffy... she hinted that if the hubby one day gets too mushy mushy and lovey dovey.. she suspects something wrong outside... on the flipside.. if he comes back grumpy humpy... you suspect that he had a bad day at work.. at best or actually had an argument with the mistress... sigh...

There is no way whatsover to satisfy the womenfolk... so much so, these days when my wife pokes me about an affair... I will add oil to the fire... and make her burn a bit more.. well, maybe that is my way of keeping the flame in the relationship buring... (literally as well as figuratively that is). hehe..

Pete said...

Ha ha, that is why the relationship after marriage is interesting. Gals, be careful of the promises and lovey-dovey stuff during courting period. LOL

Calvin Soo KJ said...

mjoe, i guess its their nature. they were made in that way. that's why communication is very important in any relationship. my wife told me to be more open, that is give more detail. women are very articulate....we men must know when to talk and when to shut up....hehehe

pete, hahahha. bro, youre in which category...lol. women always remember when we men make promises. but we often forget coz we take things for granted. so....have to play by the books. always must be win, win lor. use biz ethics d... :)

*snarl* who talked behind my back ahh? LOL. hey, of course I'll think that way lorr, if suddenly bring back flowers and stuff when after all these years never do such thing at all.(even during the paktor time oso so STINGY) Must be something wrong somewhere... got a few possibilities, which is:

1. He feel guilty for doing hanky panky things behind my back.
2.Got mistress outside and feel bad because his mistress just dump him, and suddenly have the need to do some romancing just for the heck of it.
3.Having midlife crisis.
4.He suspect that I'm having an affair and suddenly decided to be all mushy so that I wun run off with some handsome and romantic hunk and he wun loose a free cook and a person to clean all of the dirty laundry.
5.Suddenly decided that he wants to buy a new toy and needs to butter me up.

So, yeah, if he's suddenly overly nice to me, then I will have no choice but to do some investigation. LMAO.

I think you have received this awars yet, so I'm presenting it to you...http://suituapui.wordpress.com/2008/11/05/friends-for-life/

Anonymous said...

to show how much u love ur other half, action is more practical.

if just using words, like "I love you" or bla bla bla, who also can say lar.

but if u think again, can u really believe wat he/she said?

the word "I love you" means nothing.
action always the best way to express.

other word, use ur brain lar,
who also can say "I love you" lar,
but how many ppl really mean it?

most ass hole tell u "I love you"
but actually in their mind they only think of "I wanna fuck you"

so think back and see, can this 3 word be trusted?

Anonymous said...

*roll eyes* see la, Calvin... malaysian men! That's the reason why ur mom gets no "I love you' from ur dad and i get only 2 from my other half. SUSAH! Say I love you lost macho wan!

Anonymous said...

i still remember that my wife accepted me coz i never said "I love you"
coz she said this 3 words means nothing but deception.
:)

Calvin Soo KJ said...

clef, or maybe, he came to his senses and decided to give you flowers leh....cannot judge lor. otherwise, nanti for nothing spark an argument. not all malaysian men lar. nowadays, the youngsters simply say i love you to get in bed. have to see the situation. but im sure you wouldnt want your hubby to say i love you without meaning it rite?

stp, thanks for the award. :)

garfield, i hear you bro. but for me action must be complimented by words. some ladies wouldnt mind if they dont hear "i love you", but it would surely brighten up their day to hear from someone they love.
cant blame your wife for saying the 3 words are words of deception. maybe she was hurt before, i dont know. but try it out sometime, maybe not everyday but on occasions...her birthday, anniversary or what not. :)

Anonymous said...

Calvin,
nop, my wife never get hurt b4, as i am her 1st and last man in her life.

for me self, i also dun like to use this 3 words.

when i din say that 3 words last time, she say good, and now she is saying that i never tell her this 3 words, walau e.

and now she say if i tell her this 3 words, then i might be did some guilty things.

walau e! u see, after get marry long time already, this is how a wife threat the husband. no matter wat the husband do also, the wife also say not enough 1...

Calvin Soo KJ said...

garfield, they're made in that way. have to live with it. dont have women in our live also cannot jadi....hahaha

Anonymous said...

:)
now u can say like this until very relax only.

wait 5 more years and see, u will also say the same thing like me 1
lol

Calvin Soo KJ said...

garfield, try my best not to....hahahaha. if i do, then i'll have bruises all over, kinda like the sm ones...lol
